We can hardly believe it, but strawberry season is just around the corner. 

The days are getting longer, 

the sunshine feels warmer, 

and that sweet smell of spring is in the air.

Here at Deer Run Farm, we’re getting everything ready for one of our favorite times of the year—and we hope you are too!

How are the Strawberries Doing?

Our strawberry plants are loving this warm weather and sunshine. 

Every day, we see more blooms popping up and little green berries starting to grow. 

It’s a beautiful sight!

We’ve been out in the fields checking on them, and let me tell you, with just a little more time, they’ll be ripe, red, and ready for you to enjoy.

When Can You Start Picking?

If all goes well (and so far, it sure is!), our strawberries are usually ready to pick around the; 

Second Week of April.

‍

We know many of you are eager to plan your visit, so keep an eye out.

We’ll announce the exact opening date as soon as we can. We can’t wait to welcome you back to the fields!
